How to apply
- 1 Wash the hair with shampoo. Scrub the scalp, forming a thick foam, and spread it until the ends.
- 2 Rinse well with running water.
- 3 For the application, add around 85ml of the product in a proper bowl, varying according to the hair volume and length.
- 4 Divide the hair into sectors, starting from the back of the neck.
- 5 Apply the product using a proper brush on the entire hair length, in thin strands starting on the roots (respect the 1cm distance from the scalp).
- 6 Spread it down over the entire strand, using a thin comb to evenly distribute.
- 7 Let the product act for 20 to 30 min, depending on the thickness and porosity of the hair.
- 8 Rinse thoroughly with running water and remove 90 to 100% of the product.
- 9 With a blow dryer, dry the hair completely.
- 10 For a straighter effect, finish it with a flat iron.

The product is not compatible with any other chemical?
Yes, with ammonium thioglycolate, sodium hydroxide, guanidine and hené, once they are extremely alkaline products. We advise waiting 5 months to do an acid straightening procedure because a chemical cut will happen due to incompatibility.

What is the durability of the straight effect?
30 to 50 days depending on how much the hair will grow and after treatment care (like the shampoo used at home). It’s required to retouch with the same product used before (Smooth BTX).

How long do I need to wait to perform another chemical procedure on my hair, like coloring for example?
We advise waiting around 30 days to perform a bleaching procedure, for example.

I’ve done some highlights, can I use BTX right after?
No, we recommend waiting at least 15 days to perform any blowout treatment on the hair. The professional must, in every case, remove the product completely when rinsing the hair, otherwise the highlights will oxidate.
